After living for more than 20 years under the Bolivarian Revolution and having our family's 36-year-old business expropriated, I decided to write about it in a way that could reach the greatest amount of people.
I use storytelling to extract what is meaningful about the Venezuelan experience.
In fiction, I am currently crafting a thriller set in a near-future scenario in which the United States undergoes a revolution. I am hoping this will help the rest of the world imagine what it would be like if they had to go through the same process we went through.
In nonfiction, I am in the process of articulating the most salient moral and cultural lessons we have learned, both from the point of view of leadership, as well as from the perspective of regular citizens.

Aside from writing, I'm an engineer, I play the piano, I exercise, and I have practiced martial arts for over a decade so we are not going to run out of things to talk about.
